1. Finance Directors :-

The Finance Director has overall responsibility for management of the finance function of an organization and directs all finance activities for the company.

Duties Include:-
  • Overall control of the company’s accounting functions.
  • Financial planning and related ongoing advice for the chief executive and senior management.
  • Formulating financial targets and budgets in accordance with the strategy determined by the board.
  • Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems.
  • Corporate finance: managing company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions, as appropriate.
  • Preparing annual accounts.
  • Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the company’s financial affairs.
Requirements of the role:-
  • Graduate /degree-level education.
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with previous financial control and management reporting experience
  • Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
  • Significant experience in finance, with at least five years in senior management.

2. Financial Controller :-

The Financial Controller oversees the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the companies finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.

Duties Include:-
  • Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
  • Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
  • Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet

3. Charted Accountant :-

Chartered accountants provide financial advice to clients that range from multinational organizations and governmental bodies to small independent businesses. Accountants often specialize in particular areas of practice, with these areas including audit, management consultancy, recovery, forensic accountancy, taxation, assurance, and corporate finance.

Duties include:-
  • Preparing accounts and tax returns
  • Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure

  • Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements

Duties include:
  • Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

  • Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

He/ She might print and mail vendor checks and balance related statements, resolve purchase order problems and refer accounts to collections.
